About this grant

The Home Office is providing early notification of its intention to explore the continuation of the Modern Slavery Fund, focused on reducing the impact of modern slavery on the UK.

The department is currently engaging with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and other government departments to define specific priorities for the Fund.

At present, the expected focus is on programmes addressing modern slavery and human trafficking affecting Vietnamese, Albanian, and Romanian nationals, both within the UK and in their countries of origin.

We are also exploring a continuation of the Modern Slavery Innovation Fund, with projects that promote innovation and advocacy to strengthen due diligence on forced labour in supply chains and tackle trafficking and forced criminality in cyber-scam centres.

Any opportunities to apply for funding will be announced online at: Home - Find a grant.

Lessons learned from previous funding rounds can be found here:  Modern Slavery Fund internal review: 2022 to 2025 - GOV.UK

For the avoidance of doubt: This notice is a prior information notice intended for early market notification only. It does not constitute a formal call for proposals, nor does it create any obligation or guarantee of funding for organisations that engage with the Home Office.

For the purposes of this market notification, an indicative funding amount has been included. This is under consideration and will be confirmed once our approach to potential grant funding is finalised.
